ABOUT US

HHUK are part of a growing Europe-wide community who study Hawaiian dance and cultural arts with guidance from Kumu Hula Rich Pedrina and Hālau Hula ʻO Nāpunaheleonāpua. Alongside our global ʻohana, we aim to share not only this learning through online and in person classes, workshops and performance, but also our deep aloha for Hawaiʻi, hula and those who make – and have made – it possible for us to take this journey

HULA ʻONI E EUROPE 2023 PAU!

What an incredible adventure. The festival and competition weekend were immaculately organised and managed, and it was wonderful to share aloha with poʻe hula from all across Europe and Hawaiʻi. We were honoured to be awarded wins at the competition – Miss Hula ʻOni E Europe 2023, 1st Wahine Group ʻAuana, 1st Wahine Group Kahiko, ʻŌlelo Award, 1st Overall – and send our grateful thanks to our Kumu, alakaʻi, families, friends and global hula ʻohana
